I am an artist living and working in the North East of Scotland.

Most of my work is figurative, and often inspired by the aerial performers for whom I make costumes.

I find the ways in which the human body is changed by suspension in mid-air fascinating; and I enjoy the compositional freedom which is a vital part of aerial poses, allowing me space to experiment with texture and layers of colour.

I aim to evoke the feeling of peace, which, combined with a focus on the immediate moment, is what I have taken from my own aerial experiences.
